Could some kind person out there help me understand photo paper grades. I'm I right by thinking the higher the grade the better the paper. I have a kodax 3200 series printer and was wondering what was the best sort of photo paper to use to get the best results.

what do you mean grades, the weight or like premium, ultra premium etc?

Yes I think I meant the wieghtEG 190g/m

higher the number the thicker the paper which generally means better. for a photo paper you want at least 240gsm. normal White paper is about 80gsm.

it is the weight of the paper per area normally a square meter. so thicker paper weighs more per square meter than thinner paper.

That you very much for that.
