Hi folks,

Is there any alternative to photo mechanic? I've to start submitting images to a photo agency from footie games and have been advised that PM makes it easier, however I dont have the $150.

Does the trial have any limitation except the 20 day limit?
 
PM makes it easier in which way, exactly??
 
I was told that because it can caption, ftp and work with ps to edit the files it makes it a lot simpler and quicker.
 
Most football shooters use PM as not only for just captioning but code replacements too especially with so many foreign players.

BTW I know of a shop that is selling PM for £40. Not the latest version but can be updated once registered.
 
Sanpzz, spill the beans £40 is within my budget (even if its an older version)
 
PhotoMechanic is worth its weight in gold. I use it all the time and the PhotoShelter plugin is dead handy too for uploading to my site.
 
Not sure if you can transfer a license, I have a copy that I never use anymore. I can email them tomorrow if needed. (on my iPad now and the detail is on my iMac)

Agree PM is well worth it, makes life so much easier, especially with the built in email and FTP client and with the Shortcut for the editing program, it really is a superb piece of software

I will need to save up my cash, as for $20 dollars more than an upgrade I can get a new licence with 2 years upgrades as apposed to 1 years as I'm a student.
