Wow - so proud a photo I sent for the first time ever to a National Paper, has been printed in the Sunday Telegraph today.

Apparently they have tens of thousands of images daily - so you can imagine what this means to a mere enthusiast like myself.

What was incredible was it was not my favourite photo, as it wasn't as sharp as I would have liked, but it was a snap shot from a moving boat.

Congratulations. Lovely shot.

Awesome and completely deserving of being published. :)

Outstanding images isn't always about, pinsharp, low noise and other technical criteria, it's about emotion from the image. We should all stop fretting about the small stuff.

Despite your reservations about the picture, it is an incredible capture (a momentary opportunity) with superb colours - a really lovely shot.
Most people only manage to capture a picture of the tail as the dolphin disappears.

Lovely shot.
I had one in the Telegraph once....It's a nice feeling :)

I think you are right to be proud of that shot. I am not at all surprised it got published. Its none of my business I know, but I'm intrigued to know whether they paid you for using it? If I were you I would remove it from facebook in case someone 'steals' it, I am no professional but IMHO, I suspect that shot has a commercial value.
Well done.

Yes they will be paying me, don't know how much but that's irrelevant to me, just heard a magazine wants to buy it too.

The Facebook images are such low resolution no one could do anything with them really.

If I were a professional I would be more worried about it, but I just enjoy taking photos and this surge of interest is brilliant for my morale, and also help paying the credit card bill now I have purchased a 5DMk3 :)
