And mine too !!

Had to make a claim recently, all went smoothly an glad I was covered

I fell in a river with my 7d, stupid thing to do I know..... But they were very efficient in handling the claim

Yes I only pay £15 ish for my stuff, it's peace of mind knowing it's covered when I go out. Must update mine as I've just bought a 430ex ii, it's easy to do online !

Iv just checked I'm covered for theft and accidental damage. One thing I didn't get was when I was putting in what equipment I had all the stuff o have under the value of £100 it only let me put one thing in so I couldn't put my bag, hoya pro filters, cokin filters ect in! :-(

You have no idea if your insurance is any good or not ... till you make a claim. I'll bet you'll be disappointed when/if you do!!

Cos they'll make an excuse to avoid paying.

Just beware if you do need to make a claim at anytime, specially for theft or loss is that you will need proof of ownership i.e receipt or bank statement showing purchase. And it won't do any harm photographing your gear either.

Some I have brought second hand off a friend.

Would be worth seeing if your friend could write out a receipt, then back it up with photos.
