Hi. All.

Just a quick question on framing a photo. What steps to take.
Tell me if I am wrong.

1. Pick a frame size
2. Frame inset / No Inset piece.
3. Size up photo to fit Frame / Inset piece.
4. Mount photo on backing.
5. Frame photo.

When you size up the photo do you undersize it a weeee bit or do you go for
the printed size, eg 10x8, 6x4 ....

Thanks for the Help in advance..

Hmm so many variables..
mine depending on size if larger than A4, take pic to framers select mount against picture maybe 2 mountcards.
depending on colour of pic use say a black as main mount and about 5-9mm from it,s edge add 2nd mount say cream.so the black defines the picture.
Cream border always at least 2 inches wider allround then pic suitable frame I also get them some call it dry mounted well mine glued down using a machine that warms the sticky up and a vacum pulls the picture down

here a couple pics to show
