Have acquired some film photo enlargers, proper pro ones. They were used by RAF photogs before they went digital. I've had a look and one of them is still £1200 new today. The ones I have are working afaik but I don't know if all parts are there though.

My question is where would be the best place to try and sell them along with a box of other bits that goes with them.

Reason is I run a photo club on base at work and was given these by the station warrant officer. He said if I can't use them then flog them and buy stuff we can use.

Any advice would be great. Thanks.

Dan

edit - One of them is a LPL C7700MX Multi System Colour Enhancer, and the other is a Durst M370 Colour. There are a few lenses which go with them i think, and some slide trays etc. I really have no clue haha.

Where abouts are you?

Really don't want to pour cold water on your idea, Dan, so please take this as friendly advice.

Are you sure this is legit ?

Can a WO give you authority to sell MoD kit just like that.

Well if it is ligit (and I hope it is) then at least they'll be getting used again probably and not disposed of literally like the army's film gear. Deciding that it wasn't worth selling it, nearly all their film gear including quite a few Nikon FM2's and various enlargers ended up getting put in sandbags and smashed with a sledgehammer before being thrown out.

You might want to look at photographic gear dealers like Ffordes etc as they'll likely pick it up as well although the price of film gear is rising now when sold on ebay.

I understand your concerns but yeah his working party found it in a disused building on camp and if I didn't take it he was going to sling it in the skip. It hasn't been used since 2003 from the routine service labels on it. So it will have been written off the inventory years ago.

I think he said it was donated to the old camera club on camp, so I can't see it being an issue.

Thanks for advice to everyone though.

Great Dan - that's good.

Reason I became alerted is that occasionally on Pprune Mil forum members post references to items of gear for sale and folk do question this.
