Ive been using a normal Microsoft mouse for ages but making fine, accurate selections are getting to a pain. I've heard a gaming mouse with adjustable dpi is good but I don't want to spend more than £20. The ones I've looked at seem ok enough but they don't seem that durable.
I've also looked at a Kensington trackball mouse for £17. I've never used one so not sure what to expect. I'll only use it when I need to straighten lines and straighten panos in photoshop.
Any advice?

For that kind of work a tablet is worth the money.

If looking for a bargain, there's often old Wacom stock knocking about.

Can't help with the question but did like my old Microsoft trackball for everything so have ordered myself one of those trackballs from Amazon! Thanks for the link.

I don't really like tablets. I have a small one but I don't use it much, much rather a mouse. Just want a cheap mouse that can have the dpi changed on the fly, go from normal to really slow and accurate on the fly.

I use a trackball and wouldn't be parted from it. I literally wore the first one out so currently on my second Kensington Orbit https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product...mini_detail?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE Highly recommended - my missus uses the same.

I use it for fine editing work, and prefer it to the Wacom tablet I also have. In fact, since I never use that, it's for sale. If anyone's interested, I'll pop it in the classifieds. This one https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product...mini_detail?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2RYHS6H89TZUS

Just replaced mine with a Sumvision ZARK Gaming mouse. I find it much more controllable than my previous bog standard mouse, and yes, the adjustable DPI is very useful.
I don't doubt that a tablet would be better in every respect though I've yet to try one.

Ben ill be honest and say save up for a Tablet, I'm a massive gamer and my main mouse is a Logitech performance MX, tried lots of gaming mice, and i rarely use any of the buttons for LR/PS, i saved up and bought the Intuos Pro small and its great ( once your used to it ) there is a cheaper version on Amazon thats very good, but the name escapes me....

Did anybody else read the title of this thread and think 'They be clever little buggers'?
