So I've been checking out this site,(SPAM REMOVED) But I dont think its all that good. So im wondering what sites you guys use for giving and receiving photo-critiques.

Those of you who answered that that you use regular forums - why do you prefer that to special sites?

Those of you who use special sites - what features do you like there and what features do you miss?

I don't think you will get many different replies from the ones above.
Most of the die-hard regulars on this forum, use, well this forum for their critique. Problem is, a lot of posters for critique can't take the bad with the good, what critique is all about. They take the huff and mog off muttering 'load of old ******s' on that forum, when most of the answers are meant to be help on how to improve.
What really gets me are the ones that 'forget' to thank the ones that do bother to try to help. Got to admit, I give very little critique because of this!

Is this a thinly disguised request to visit some other forum to increase it's popularity, I ask myself???????

So I didn't.

There is only one photo forum, you are looking at it.

Welcome to TP; if you visit again, we look forward to offering critique on your work, and receiving it on ours.

Now thats a hard question - maybe we use Talk Photography  are you a spammer????????????

Les :D:D:D

There's one option missing from the list: I show my photos to my friends and colleagues.

The problem with criticism of any sort is that it's totally subjective and it's also subject to the vagaries of fashion.

well - it's looking more and more likely that the OP was a "drop post and run" spammer, hoping to drive some custom towards the website that was formerly in his post...

I say formerly, as its about to disappear...

Edit: ooohh - it's not there anymore :)

I hope I'm wrong, and that Stiven is a genuine chap, and comes back and contributes to the forum, but for now, I'm not holding out much hope...
