I was looking into buying a few bits, and came across them. They seem fairly priced, just wondering if anyone has bought something from there before?

They look a little dodgy to me!

It's got a zero google PR rating and the URL is linked to a residential address to a gentleman named, I'd be very wary.

Thanks. I'll give it a miss, or order something really cheap to test them out first.

Update: Bought an item, paid for it via paypal, no emails, no packages, nothing. Dispute raised with paypal, case closed after no response. I better get my money back or I'll be ****ed off.

**address details removed**

just did a search for nicholas camera co no results  its ok i found them and a quote from timeout

An interestingly shambolic shop with mountains of stock, the Nicholas Camera Company sells all sorts of old and modern cameras dating from as far back as the 1800s. It's best to have a clear idea before you go in of what you want - rather than browsing you have tell the shopkeeper what you want and he goes and looks. In addition to the more familiar SLR names, you'll find large-format cameras by the likes of Linhof, Sinar, Horseman and medium-format giants such as Hasselblad and Mamiya. There are also accessories, darkroom kits and a growing array of used digital equipment.

Any comment on the less-than-stellar customer feedback on Amazon?

Only comment would be that the last feedback was in February 2011 so it looks as though they haven't been selling through Amazon for the past 18 months or so.:suspect:

DO NOT buy anything from this company - they're scammers! This is the same cheating old man that runs Nicholas Camera company in Camden - just look at these reviews for reference: http://www.timeout.com/london/shopping/nicholas-camera-company

ALL their kit is faulty and dusty and even if you do return it he will refuse to refund your money - He is currently being reported to trading standards and the police.
