So I was out walking in my RAF boots (trying the break them in) when I remembered i'd seen this competition.

Here is my entry, taken on my hTC Desire with no processing at all. I deem it to be rubbish with the Red Bull cans in the shot, the composition is rather rubbish and having the sky blown is also rubbish :)

Went out for a walk in the woodlands today and remembered seeing this previously, so took this photo with my Nokia N95 and set the camera colour tone to 'negative', a setting I have not used before. Nothing else done to it, except resize to load here.

It's amazing the amount of rubbish people discard in the woodlands :gag: I saw all sorts, from mattresses, tents, office chairs etc thrown into the stream that flows through the woods. Took photos of all, but thought I'd enter this one:

Perhaps the teddy bears forgot it there after their picnic :shrug:

I thought all photos were supposed to be taken with a phone? There appear to be some taken with proper cameras...

That'll be the ones taken with HTC's then :D

Seriously, which ones, as they all have either exif or people have said which phone they used - have to trust people, its for fun afterall :shrug:
 
Dont think any of them were taken on proper cameras. Which are you referring to?
 
One of the ones I looked at hosted on flickr said it was taken with a canon something. Don't know whether flickr is accurate with that though. Doesn't matter as the aim is to get people out taking photos which is the point :)

If you go back and look properly, you'll see that one copy of the image was indeed taken with a Canon 350D.


You might also then notice that that version of the image has a border and a watermark on it, and on the next page is a similar picture, taken from the same view point, with an iPhone with Exif intact.


Photography + observation etc! :D


btw - whilst we are into confessions... I voted for my own image by mistake along with three others, so dock me one vote (not that it'll make any difference! :D ).

I think you are referring to my image, DemiLion is correct. I took one on my iPhone for this competition and another with my camera because I liked the shot and wanted a decent shot of it. I'm sure Kev & Keith can back me up as it's part of the detail if the horses they took at the same time.
Sorry for the confusion.
