Carrying on from this now very popular challenge - this weekend the theme will be 'Ghoulies'

It's Halloween this weekend, so get out there and get snapping away over the next 2 days with anything connected with Halloween, remember that anyone can enter and it's all about FUN, not necessarily about your photography skills, (it can't be I won last week !!) get as creative as you like, interpret things as you like and let's try and get a good number of entries.

Entries close at the witching hour - midnight on Sunday 31st October, and the only rule is that the photo must be taken on your mobile phone, with no editing in software other than that on your phone.

The winner will be selected by voting which will be supervised/organised by Yv.

No prizes - just praise from fellow TP'ers, but what more could you possibly want!

Have fun, I look forward to seeing your entries which should be posted in this thread please.

Why Not? - It is a FUN competition for mobile phone camera users, there are plenty of comps for other types of cameras, this one is just for mobile phones, it's the rule, that's all.

I'm very sorry if you don't have a mobile phone with a camera, but there is'nt anything in the rules to say it has to be YOUR mobile phone- why not see if you can borrow one from a friend, neighbour or family member and join in that way, it would be great to have you on board :thumbs:

I saw them last night on way home while it was still daylight, so went back there this evening. Hope the chaps halloween party goes well! I felt like some kind of stalker pulling up outside the house, winding window down, taking a couple of shots with phone and driving off again :lol:

Not a lot of activity on here this afternoon, hopefully you are all out snapping away and we will see some superb shots up here later - don't forget you've got to be in it to win it, and the only chance of winning at the moment is if you have a HTC desire :lol:

Actually I know what you mean, I have kinda got something that I did during a quiet time at work this afternoon, but not sure if it's the right thing so will post when I have decided, most likely tomorrow.

The competition is really hotting up now - there is some superb photo's and a lot of effort and thought put in, but we still need more entries so come on the rest of you get out there today and find something frightening to photograph - it's better than sitting behind a computer screen and bickering with each other as in a lot of threads on here these days :nono:

Life is for living, get out, take photo's HAVE FUN - PLEASE :lol:

Hiya TP'ers, hope you have all had a fabby-dabby-doo Halloween!

We have had a great spooky weekend with 2 parties, just got back from the last (and also just had the last of the trick or treaters for the night).

I have taken so many photos for this weeks theme .... and even drove over to Newchurch-in-Pendle this afternoon (reknown for its witch history) in hope to get some photos of the Pendle Witch display outside of the shop, Witches Galore, but sadly (to many visitors disappointment) somebody has stolen the witches :'(

Now tell me .... who would want to steal some ugly looking witches? There are some very sick people! But ...... little do they realise they now probs have a very nasty spell cast on them :lol::lol::lol: So I wouldn't like to be in their shoes.

Anywayz, feeling a bit disgruntled at there being no witch display, we went for a bit of a walk down the road and stumbled upon the Witch Galore company vehicle, a 4x4 and on the spare wheel was a cover with a fab pic of a witch.

So out came the mobile phone, and there I was taking a pic of a spare wheel cover (peeps must have though I was :cuckoo:), infact I even had a comment or two from passers by.

But, in the name of a good challenge for TP, I got the following snap on my Nokia N95, which I thought was a bit boring until I discovered that my phone has edit functions :lol: Something I have never used before (so this challenge is really opening up a learning experience for me with a basic phone, compared to the new iPhones, etc)

So here it is:

I thought the frame was quite appropriate considering the witches are missing :lol:

Can't say there is a reward, but then again can't say this is the best pic either. But then it isn't the winning that counts, it is the taking part that is more fun.

Thanks Simon for choosing a fab and very appropriate theme for this week (you got lucky with that one :lol:). I have had a great time taking pics for this one and now have a healthy profile of Halloween photos :D

Well, it's all over for another week, there has been a hell of a lot of effort, time and thought gone into all the entries this weekend, I am completely in awe of everything you have all done and cannot believe the number of entries that have been posted - as for the quality truly outstanding.

I just want to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you for taking part :clap:

So we've done the easy bit in getting the pictures - now the voting begins and I wish you all the best of luck and I look forward to congratulating the winner and taking part next week.

Hope it's multiple chose. No way could I pick just one from that lot.
