Is there anyone left in the country who still uses these?

I think I used the yellow pages once about 2 years ago to find an electrician in a hurry but I've not used the phone book for years I dont think. Im half tempted to go on junkbuster.org and stop delivery.

Do people still use either?
 
Not since they made the paper less absorbent...

We do still use an old phone book but only to find people's post codes. These days, we use Google to find business numbers and we have a selection of "tame" tradespersons so don't need to let our fingers do any walking.
 
I can't even remember the last time a telephone directory of any kind was even delivered to the house!
 
I havent used a yellow pages since my days of tearing them in half as a party trick... :whistle:

Yeah...they got pretty flimsy there in the end.......... ;)
 
I dont recall ever tearing a hamster in half, no :)
 
Old people tend to. The in laws for example. For some trades it still works well, not as much as it used to but some still use.

I always thumb through both when they are delivered but only as I used to work for them both.
