Daily Phil's 2013 365 challenge 1/1/2013 All Done!!!!!!!!

Day 230. On Sunday myself and my 2 dogs did the Mourne Wall Walk. This follows the Mourne Wall in a 22 mile circular route over 14 peaks including 6 of the 7 highest mountains in the Mournes. Really tough going taking 9 hrs, 36 mins. More info here in a blog i did on it- http://www.ni-wild.co.uk/blog/2013/08/my-mourne-wall-walk/

This is the Mourne Wall in the foreground, then running up Slieve Bernagh on the right and across the summit between the 2 tors, then down to Hares Gap and up over the 4 peaks in a row right to Slieve Donard, the highest mountain in Northern Ireland, in the far distance.

Day 231. The house i was working at yesterday has 2 miniature Dachshunds and a Retriever and the 2 wee ones spend most of their time lying on top of the retriever. Quick phone shot.

Day 232. Puppy tuesday again. It is hard to believe how much they grow in 1 week. I will probably be getting mine in 2 weeks and minding it until christmas when it is old enough to start sheep training. It is called Amy and is somewhere in this jumbled mess.

Your hills look so very different in the summer - almost like two separate places

Day 234. For my 40th birthday away back in February my brother had got me a one hour flight in a microlite and i eventually got round to using it today. There is loads of shots on my Flickr, this is just one of my many favorites. We were over Lough Neagh at this stage looking inland with the Mourne Mountains where i do most of my walking away in the background/

The microlight was class Sarah. A bit wobbly going up and down but great when you are up there and great views.

Phil .... Day 235 is just the WOW factor , really nice buddy

Many thanks Vince. I dont think i could manage without flowers the way you are doing.

Day 246. I bought a sliding rail and a pano head to help me try to get some decent panoramas especially in the mountains. I tried it here in a garden i was working in. Finding the nodal point of the lens is the important bit. This was over 180 degrees and the whole file ended up at 60mb, i had to reduce it to 15mb to get it saved as i hadnt enough ram. Not a great shot but its all i have for the day.

Day 247. This was taken at 3.23am on wednesday morning in our local maternity department. Turned out to be a false alarm even though the baby was due on Sunday 1st Sept. Still no sign of it either. The babies heart rate is on the machine on the left and my wifes blood pressure on the machine on the right.

Puppies.....puppies.....dogs....puppies.....and a cat! Love 'em although I think I can predict a slight shift in topic coming up! Love 224 and 235 (I am in a horticultural mood tonight ;) )

Hi Sam, great to see you back! Thanks for taking the time to comment.
You are right about the change of focus coming up, baby is now 6 days overdue and still not much sign of it making it move. We are just after a curry:D It will definitely be here by next thursday if it doesnt come before;)

Day 252. I seem to have spent an awful lot of time this last few days in hospital. Its not often a dumper goes down a corridor in front of you though!
