Sam, that really made me laugh! That is my head, I was tying stuff down in my van when one of those stretchy bungee cords came off the hook and snapped back and hit me on the forehead. Could have been worse. Baby sitting my 2 nieces tonight, making a sore head much worse!

That was your forehead? I was wrong on both counts - thought it was either the back of your head or your knee! :lol::lol:

I am very happy to see that you are kind of OK and the only 'concussion' will be caused by family and not non-blood-related-cords! :lol::)

I'll just give you a quick :hug: to see you through the night!

I really don't like being in front of the camera, we will see! I don't have the imagination that others do when doing selfies.
 
A head wound! I must admit that I thought it was a knee at first. Sometimes it's difficult to think of what to shoot but at least a bang on the head casn produce inspiration!!!
 
Day 20. Out with the dogs this morning, only grey skies about im afraid so this was the best of a bad bunch, just glad to be out of the house shooting something.

it might be a grey sky, but it's a good sky - like that bit over the building where the clouds have parted and let some great light through! I like it! :thumbs:

Just need to ask you something - did you make a voodoo doll of me last night, or stick a jinx on me after my comments? :thinking::suspect:

I really like it and at least the sky as some detail even if it is grey!... whats the tower on the hill?:thumbs:

The tower dates back a few hundred years and was a lookout tower. It has a circular staircase round the inside and slits in the walls for defending it. I have taken shots from 5 or 6 difrerent angles round it and still have to get something I am really happy with.
 
Oh - there's a patch of blue in that sky! I saw a few glimpses of it earlier too and even some sun (til I headed towards Newtownabbey and it was a blizzard!).

Thanks Sarah, you will see more of this for sure. Determined to get a nice sunrise and sunset at this location this year.

Yea, until some young lad drunk fell off it and broke a leg, tried to claim off the land owner and the door got bricked up:thumbsdown:

Hey Phil, just catching up. Sad that you're not with your D7000 for a new days, but you've captured some good shots with your temporary replacement, in particular the chocolate shot, and today's image of the tower, captured the sky really well too. Also hope your head it healing well :thumbs:
