Daily Phil's 2013 365 challenge 1/1/2013 All Done!!!!!!!!

Wow, I know you're all fed up of the snow now, but it doesn't half make for some dramatic pictures :)

Love todays shot

Thanks Sarah, the snow was the main reason that I went yesterday. I had hoped for clear skies but that didnt happen until I was leaving for home.

Phil some outstanding views and photography

Cheers Vince.

Great mountain shots again Phil! I'm up in the Brecons again next weekend :D

Thanks Jake. Just checked the Brecons and the highest mountain there is only 35 meters higher than Slieve Donard, the highest here, so there isnt much difference in the 2 ranges. Hope you get good weather.

Haha 'special filter' good filler! But the rest of the mountain shots are just gorgeousness

Thanks Phil! We had terrible low cloud and snow last time! This time I'd like to see the views!

The pheasant shot is great considering it's through glass!

Cool, we used to get pheasants in the garden at home. One morning my dad woke up having forgotten to close the back door and found one strutting around the kitchen

The snowy mountain shots are just stunning Phil. LOL at the double glazing filter, we've all got one of them!

Thanks Sarah. The snowy mountains are great, I know the pheasant is not so much.

Low cloud is always my enemy in the mountains, it seems like 3 days out of 4 the visibility is sh5t!:D

Good story Sarah:)

Nice capture....and your special filter is clearly cleaner than my special filter! :D

I know you like it dirtier Sam;)

Oooh, Phil, I do....I like it dirty, the filthier the better...Give me filthy dirty any day ...........

......That way, I don't have to bother with CURTAINS!!!!:p

Day 85. The sun actually appeared here today which makes a nice change. Dam cold though. Nice to see a few primulas braving the weather.

I love the Primulas, Phil - fantastic vibrant colours there! :)

Hi Phil, firstly it's good to see you're back matey...i'm now gonna play a major catch up with your shots :).

Overall some cracking shots matey, the Coi stands out for me, and brings back fond memories of my old house with the pond and the Coi Carp I had in it....when the local bloomin' heron didn't pounce.

Day 80 is an awesome shot and certainly makes me feel chilly even though I've currently got the heating on ;).

You're mountain shots are just the bogs dollocks ;), you do live in a gorgeous part of the world matey, and Day 84 is just a gorgeous shot too, bursting with wonderful vibrant colours.

Day 84 wow very lovely!

Thanks T

Many thanks Simon, good to see you back in action too.:)

Day 86. My duck (jemima my wife calls her!) is nesting in my garden. I spotted the drake trying to look like he was just casually hanging about on my lawn on monday morning while there was no sign of her about anywhere so i suspected that she had started laying. On tuesday morning he was back again so i took a look later on and found the nest under an obelisk with ivy growing on it. This is her laying laying her third egg, she will come back every morning until she has a dozen or more before she starts to sit on them.

Day 87. This is Millie. We are dog sitting her for a couple of days. She has no obedience at all and this is just after me telling her off for trying to get her paws up on the kitchen work top to see what edible was up there. She doesnt really want to listen to me and is more interested in watching Lyndsey cooking!

Cheers Sarah. LOL at everyone liking Millie, she is a pain, the most disobedient dog i have cam across. She has no manners, wont listen to one thing anyone says and is spoilt rotten by the woman and her 2 daughters that she lives with! I would need her here for a month, she would go home a totally different dog!

Two more cracking shots Phil.....and Millie is just adorable :love::love::love::love:

Thanks Simon

Cheers T. My duck is up to 5 eggs now, i must google how long they take to hatch after she starts to incubate them.

I wish I had ducks in my garden! So cute! Millie is adorable!

Thanks Jake.

Day 88. Had one last go at light trails before the time changes. Surprised how quiet the motorway was at 7.45. Tried to do something similar to Matt by catching the traffic coming over the bridge that i was standing on as well as the motorway below.

Looking forward to seeing the ducklings!

It looks like you are introducing Millie to the world of obedience quite well there! Bless her, the naughty little thing!

I really like your light trails - in particular that great sky!

Wow superb light trails Phil!...I would be super pleased with that and such a lovely sky too

You've shot that at the perfect time! What a stunning capture! Better than I've ever managed! I really like it!

Thanks Jake. This was the last shot of the evening, I wasn't particularly happy with any of them but it was -1 and I wasn't standing about any longer!

Cheers Sam. It will be interesting to see what happens when the ducklings appear, last year she only hung around for a few hours and then took them all away to a small lake that we have a few fields away.

Thanks T!
