I like both your pedal and your petal Peter. Your petrol sign also has a Paypoint logo and Points here sign as well as an @ the pump message...just sayin'...

Yes this set or styling is harder than it looks. I read somewhere there are professional food stylists so it must be a skill.

Week 27 Post

I've had a really busy week so early morning I went for a short walk to the local wood to snap a post and dappled light. But light cloud cover appeared by the time I arrived so no dappled light.
However, lots of posts on this short walk. I chose Forbidden post as I felt tempted to lean down and look through the hole when I saw it.

Nice set Peter, although I would have cropped the blue doc poo bag out of number 5, but I suppose it adds some social commentary!
 
This path is popular with dog walkers, especially women. I counted 10 separate ladies walking their dogs that morning in a pretty short time.
Just after I took the photo 2 quite well dressed ladies walked past, one picked up the bag and said “that’s ours” and took it away.
I suspect they saw me taking the pic and thought it might be bad press locally. I doubt it was really theirs.
 
That’s a nice solid post you’ve chosen for the main shot Peter. The framing and POV makes it stand out well against the background.
 
Week 28 Water

This is someone filling their bottle from the water bowser at the RIAT airshow. It was a very hot day.
I took quite a few shots but chose this one as the drips off the bottom of the bottle add context.

That's a great scene. I like the shadow and light, and the tight composition.
 
Well I've been confined to the house all week with a bad back. For reasons unknown I strained it at RIAT, so in-house handles were the way to go.
