Couldn't agree more. and Jason Manford deserves a lot of credit for his efforts in pushing the story and the charity.

The young lad is an inspiration.

I agree about Manford too. Plus he put his money where his mouth is. Like him or not, can't knock him for that.

Brave kid. Nuff said. Respect!!

Truly inspirational! Where they get that strength from amazes me. I went to the funeral of my mates 7 year old daughter a few days ago she had fought brain cancer for 3.5 years. One of the last things she did was to sell her toys at the church hall because, quote, "she wouldn't be needing them anymore" to raise money for other children like her.

Way to make me descend into weepy sniffles.

He's going to top two mill this evening. I don't care how it happened he must feel so chuffed. He will still die shortly, but with his positivity and this result, I believe he will die content.

He's done it.

I heard someone from the Teenage Cancer Trust on the radio the other night describing how, as a motivational speaker Stephen describes "life should not be measured in time, but by what you've done for others.".
I reckon the rest of the population can't possibly live long enough to match him.

A fantastic example of looking on the bright side, and avoiding self pity.

I am speechless.

It's stories like this that make what want to slap myself for moaning about the trivial stuff.

Regards.

Don't we all! slap ourselve that is, not slap you :)

3 million.

Looks like he's been released from Hospital. Hope he get's plenty of time to see some good come out of the money raised.

Released? That's great.
Last I heard he'd had a successful surgery.
I've plenty of time for this chap.

Just heard the news.

Have to admit that I had a suspicion he had been sent home for his last days but was hoping he'd have rather longer.

Thoughts are with his family and friends - but what a legacy!

No pain now, lad. RIP.
