Maybe we show have a sticky thread where when one of us is made aware of a council event that requires a permit, the TP member can post an email address of the councils communications department and we can all apply by the boat load. That'll get the council moaning.

Or you could get a few thousand photographers to turn up at one of their events without permits to see how the council go about enforcing it.
