Surprised to not see a thread about this already - if there already is and I've missed it then please feel free to delete :D

So whats everybodys Photography related aims/resolutions for 2015?

For me personally a large chunk of 2014 I suffered GAS very badly (so to speak lol) - so for 2015 I'm aiming to stick with one camera and one lens...

I do however reserve the right to decide what camera and lens that will be later on in the year if a nice shiney X100T drops into my lap! :D

I'll do my best though :D

Mainly to keep my GAS under control, although there are a couple of items I can almost justify when they become available!

Had assorted plans for this year and failed in most of them miserably (thanks, DVLA!) Never managed to keep a resolution other than one to not stick to any resolutions...

Get out further afield to take more photos, advance rail travel is so cheap, but need to get more organised this year

Plan for 2015 is to take more pictures. Spent so much time and effort on either the day job, or on peripheral photographic activities this year (preparing portfolios, books, exhibitions, updating websites etc), that I've had little time to do any 'serious' photography.

The first two are the same as every year..
  1. Print more of the photos I take.
  2. Enter the Eastern Open (I've had this as a goal the past couple of years and not managed it yet - the entry date always creeps up on me).
  3. Follow-up the contacts I've made this year with local retailers interested in stocking local themed greetings cards, post cards and small souvenir prints.

I'd like to take fewer, but better, images. So, I guess I mean I want to slow down, think what I'm doing more, be more considered and hopefully end up with more "keepers" and a lot fewer "chuckers" ...

I also want to get out more, to a wider variety of locations and try some different things.

... Well ... That's the plan. Whether I works out or not, I'll have to wait and see.

I haven't got any big plans this year but am going to try again to get a reasonable shot of a puffin in flight
I've got the gear its just me thats crap:D:D:)

I'd simply like to do more photography in 2015. It's been pushed out over the last six or seven months by business at work and I'm missing it quite a lot.

I don't make resolutions. If you mean something, why are you waiting until December 31st to make some pointless promise to yourself? If you think it's important to do, or not do something... just get on with it regardless of the date.

I do believe the title said aims/resolutions.

I agree with the resolution sentiment so took this as what I aim to do in 11 days time!

Forgot one.. (but was reminded by a couple of replies above..)

5. Make more use of the ignore list (to put more of the enjoyment back into reading TP)

With the Alps about an hour away, can you believe I still haven't got round to driving over to take pictures of them, or from them. Just gone there for ski trips. I think I need to get a car load of photographers together next year to make it happen and do some serious photography.
