Why do people make an offer in the for sales items then don,t buy it,they just make a mess of the thread when they have no intention of buying.:confused:o_O:mad:

Any examples? It's not something I've noticed being a common occurrence.

Ive just seen your for sale post, maybe you need to have a little more patience? You posted that you had PMed your details at 6:45pm, but the prospective buyer hasn't been on the forum since 5:47pm. It's now only 8:33pm. Not everyone is on the forum 24/7, let alone with a couple of hours...

Even worse is the occasional seller trying to sell an item for more than the new UK price and getting upset when the offer is in line with normal second hand prices.

If it's your Canon 85mm, it hasn't even been 2 hours since you posted to say you sent your details, the buyer might be off having something to eat...

If it was more than 2 days you might have a case, to expect someone to stay on line all night just to finalise a deal is unreasonable. Some people have a life off line.
 
just leave it there for reasons i can,t say anymore will become clear

Just so we are clear, the sales thread was removed by me and in consultation with the OP.

The "buyer" was a duplicate account(s) of someone that had already had his classified access removed, for "one reason or another" ;)
He won't be back (in that guise at least !)

All's well with the world, you can all sleep soundly in your beds tonight guys :D
 
He would have got away with it as well, if it wasn't for those pesky hamsters!
