Hello everyone, i have just acquired the above camera with a few lenses.

I have not one clue about film and i would like to know what film i could buy that i could use with this camera that i could take to my local Jessops to get processed.

Cheers all.

Any 35mm print film will do! Also known as C-41 process film, you can get B&W (although I've never used any so couldn't recommend anything), or colour, for just testing out the camera and getting used to it I'd suggest something cheap and cheerful like Fuji Superia, Fuji C200, Kodak Gold, etc. If you don't mind waiting a few days/a week to try it out then check out 7dayshop.com for cheaper prices, otherwise pop into your local Boots/Jessops and you can get the film straight away, albeit at a higher cost.

Any 35mm film should be good i would say.

May I suggest poundland first to check for light leaks

To be honest I was expecting to have been beaten myself! Haha.

Thanks a million guys :D, its just to test out and have a laugh with :)

Cheers.

Enjoy it but I must warn you it's addictive to the extreem, your ebay account will never be safe again. ;)

Ordered some film today 2 rolls of 100 and 2 rolls of 400 :)

Got some batteries aswell so hopefully will be shooting this weekend :)

I love being able to control the aperture manually

A P50 was my first SLR 22 yrs ago. I loved it! Unfortunately it was stolen in a break in. But i recently bought a couple of e-bay for nostalgia reasons. The images i used to get fomr it were amazing. Really clear. And the interface was really easy to use too.

Good luck having fun with yours :-)
