Pentax M to Canon DSLR ?

I've got a beautiful 50mm 1.7 Pentax M lens on my ME SUper 35mm. Was wondering if theres a possibility I could hook this up to my 350D ?

I think there are third party adapters available.

is it an M42 mount? if so you can buy an M42 adapter (get one with a dummy 'chip' on it and autofocussing aids will still work), which will work fine and allow for infinite focus (it won't on a Nikon)
You will still have to manual focus but like I say if you get the chipped one it will tell you when the lens is in focus, it just won't move the lens for you
You will also have to practice stop down metering

Ah, it may be M42, I'll try it out.

The Pentax M mount was a bayonet fitting that started with the K1000 and continued through the ME range with added functions.
