Pentax Flash Guns...

sorry for the question but is the Pentax KM an older film camera?
Along the same lines as the spotmatix?

sorry please ignore - just noticed you have a Pentax KM2000 DSLR not SLR

The K-m is their entry level DSLR and think Metz do a reasonably priced compatible flash

Only problem is getting FlashGuns for them is not that easy :( well at a cheap price!

The K-x is the big brother of the K-m, now that really is a cool camera

How much do you want to spend? As already mentioned above Metz do compatible flashes for Pentax - compatibility chart.

I don't think anything to do with Pentax is particularly cheap though. I bought a k200d because I wanted to be able to use the manual lenses from my old P30. However, looking at the price of new lenses, to add to my collection, makes me think if I should have just gone for Canon like everyone else.

Also, I think availability can be a problem for Pentax kit. My local Pentax dealer completely failed to obtain a Metz 58 flashgun for me. Apparently there were: availability problems and we're not expecting to get any more in. (Perhaps I need to shop somewhere else )
