Yes
Can you get pen drives that you can plug your card reader into

you can get a USB device that you can plug CF and SD cards into, if that is the question

Sorry I mean if your out and about and your memory card is full can you put it into a card reader and transfer the images to a pen drive directly from the reader without the need for a pc

no you need a protable storage device there are quite a few on the market but they are all HDD based!
other wise its cheaper to stock up on cards as they cost next to nothing at the moment!

Ahhh I see what you mean.

I don't think you can. Pen drives are pretty much on a par (cost wise) as memory cards to be honest, therefore there's not really a need for such a product.

You can buy portable devices with mini hard drives in that your cards plug into, backup devices, for while youre out and about.

Thanks so another card then.My father in law has one of those 80gb Epson photo viewers but they cost more than a laptop:eek:

Have a look for Vosonic XS-drives. They hold about 60Gb, have multiple memory card slots and cost less than £100. You can even buy the "box" and fit your own laptop HD.
