Hi all,
Getting old now and a "ruck sack" full of equipment is starting to break my back?

I'm after any of your suggestions for a hard case trolley company i could research and consider? I have looked at a Peli 1610 but are would like to hear your other suggestions?

Thanks for your time (y)

Depending if you want a hard case you can sit on... or more of a rolling suitcase??

I got a Peli Storm case - works brilliantly as long as you change the wheels :-)
After few weeks the original wheels on my case were making windows rattle miles away....
But changing them to rollerblade wheels has been the best thing for the case!

For Peli cases... unless you are very set on the gear you own.. I would probably not want the foam option.
Bought mine with the cut foams.. and with changing gear.. some of the slots are not so useful anymore.
So would maybe say that the dividers are better option.

The Storm cases are (or at least were) lighter than the normal Peli cases.. which was a consideration for me as I often fly with my gear.

Not sure of the brand name - but I think there are cheaper versions of the hard cases like Peli case .. where as with the Peli case you do pay for the brand name.

THANK YOU @GooGaBu you're right i do need to look at the STORM range and i have heard changing the original to rollerblade wheels does make life easier and seems common practice. Surely Peli know buyers of their cases do just this and ought to make a slight product alteration on future designs? :sneaky:

I have Pelican and Pelican Storm cases. Others to look at are SKB and Seahorse (I also own/owned both)... both are also US based so I don't know how that affects availability over there.

I've got the Thinktank Airport Security v2 and am very happy with it. Have flown internationally with it as hand luggage and it worked brilliantly. Two bodies and several lenses with two speedlights and various bits and pieces. Used it on a few local shoots too and it's more than served my needs.
