I'm looking to get a peak design sling strap that would be suitable for my Nikon D750 and Fujifilm X-T1. There seem to be a few choices but what is the difference between them, any one have any experience of the different versions please?

I have the "slide" and really like it. It works nicely with a 750, and still actually slides when my back pack is over it :) Super comfy too, but I would say, it`s the best strap I`ve had (and I`ve been through a few).

I have the slide on the d750 works very well.
Very comfortable even when the sigma 150-600 is attached

If I can jump in on an existing thread, does anyone use a Peak Design Slide while carrying a rucksack and how well does it work?

Just to add. I got a kata rucksack which is massive lump we walked over 3 miles on Sunday and had no issues.

Well I was thinking about 10-15 mile walks ... I use my standard Nikon strap just over my one shoulder while carrying my Deuter rucksack but it's never quite comfortable or feeling completely confident. so now I have my D750 thinking I should get a "proper" shoulder strap.

My back pack is a
Lowepro Vertex 200 AW so can get pretty heavy when I load it up :)

Everyone seems to be recommending the slide but is that the slide lite or slide summit edition. Still don't know the difference?

As far as I know, the Summit versions, are just different colours. Could be wrong though.

The same strap - just different colours.

I have bought two and sent both back. Shame really as wanted it to work. But different straps for different people!

Much like Nikon or Canon...

Of course Nikon is better :nikon:

Ive got two Slides, and a Summit (brought recently), plus a few other bits from PD that i dont use much. The Slide lite is a thinner version of the Slide that's meant for mirror less cameras, the Slide is the main one and the Summit version is just a delux version.

First off i love the feel and comfort of the slides, but they can slip to a longer length when using heavier gear. This happens when the camera rubs against your body when walking, not just because the gear is too heavy. If you pull on these there is no movement at all. PD say this is a by product of the design but I'm not convinced. Still, Ive tried to get away form these but keep coming back.
I got a Summit a few weeks ago as i love the look. Not sure I'd get another. The padding is quite a bit thicker so its harder to fit in my bag without rolling it up, and since the first time i did the i have a large crease right in the middle of the padded area. It looks a bit odd but doesn't effect usability.
