decided to get the slide version for my Nikon D810 camera and will get extra button clips for the other cameras. So what made me decide on this one or even change fro m the ones that came with Nikon
Well to start with i was getting fed up with untwisting the thin Nikon ones, really Pi**ed me off. so had a look at all makes but what really attracted me was the way the strap could be removed or put on another camera.

So went to Park cameras this morning and got the latest version but they didn't had the button holder in stock so will have a look around for them. Ok not used yet apart from fitting and that was so easy but the big difference is in having a decent wide neck strap. No more twisting up which is a blessing.

Thanks Rob. checked mine and they are the V3 version so filled out the replacement form. easy way to check is having the logo on each side, which these have. V4 have logo on one side only

However already ordered spares for my other cameras from Wex who claim they have version 4

It’s easy to use the checker and fill out the form. Delivery at first was quick but they run out around the time I ordered replacements in June. They turned up in July after they had restocked.

Good to check just in case there is pre V4 stock still about (which isnt surprising as I guess some camera shops don’t sell a high volume of these straps).

I got V3, doubt I will get my replacement next week. 7 out of 1 million isn't bad, kudos to them for sorting it though. I'm sure my camera will be safe on my travels.

The issue is camera specific (whether there is a sharp edge or not) and about wear so shouldn’t be a problem in the short term. I was using the V3s until the replacements came, I had no issues with the V3s at all.
