I noticed today that the ball head on my 6 year old Peak Design carbon fibre tripod isn't correctly locking on to plates, meaning I can't use it.
I submitted a warranty claim on their website at 6:37pm, attaching a small video showing how it doesn't work, received an email at 6:42pm advising that a brand new replacement ball head was on its way.

5 whole minutes :ROFLMAO:

Can't beat that for service. First time I've had to test their lifetime warranty.

Nice to hear from someone with a good experience rather than the more usual whinge about a company taking more than 5 minutes to respond to an e-mail.

I similarly had a capture clip fail and their support was excellent with a replacement shipped next day.

Their shops are also great if you’re ever in Ny/LA/Prague/Tokyo.
