Bought a Kodak ESP 5210 printer April 2011, Blooming thing has died on me. It tells me there is a paper jam and to open the rear panel to clear it, problem is there IS no paper. Seems to be a common problem with this type of printer and it looks like a trip back to the shop.
Anyone else had similar problems with this type of printer bought from PC World.

It will be tomorrow when I get to the store with it. I'm just wondering if some jobsworth is going to tell me to send it to Kodak at my expense or will they take care of it? Somehow I doubt they will give me a new one straight off the shelf.

I have receipt for it but don't have the original packaging, no room the house for scrap cardboard.

Anyone have good or bad experience with PC World returning things under warranty ?

Best of luck mate - you may be surprised........ but I think it will probably be a trip back to Kodak at your expense:thumbsdown:

in my experience they will replace it or refund you.

Yep down to PC world to sort it for you .

Right, they wil check their SARG - Sales and return guide. This will tell them what to do. If you paid extra for an instant replacement warranty then they will replace it for you, but if you have got the normal warranty then they may very well give you a phone number and ask you go do the leg work.

Please remember this, the store CAN book products in for repair, they just dont want to as it takes them time.

In my experience PC World will repair something you've had for more than a few weeks. I returned £600 worth of Acer laptop to them when the screen failed and when it came back from The Tech Guys () half the screws were missing from the case (the holes had security sticker over them) and the thing just fell to bits...
