PC cooling fans?

Any idea where I can get one?

I know my PC is going to be super hot this year soo.. :thumbs:
 
What type do you need? :shrug: so many different cpu's and cooling techniques so your gonna need to be specific
 
I have a Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz, 960 mb of ram.
 
This worked amazing for me when I had a P4 :thumbs:
 
Also make sure you have entry fans and exit fans. One to bring air in, one to suck air out. All about keeping the flow going!
 
Need more details, size etc.
Noctua is overpriced for what it is really, you also need to state a budget because you can spend £100's on cooling etc.

Do you want to replace or add to what you have?
Do you want to cool your processor or your case?
 
i just open the side off mine. i have also been known to open the side and direct a large domestic fan at it......probably not the most safest thing but it works for me but then i only do it when required.......please note i am not suggesting any one else should try this..........

It worries me that you say you do it when required, :nuts:

What does that mean!? Like when your PC is overheating!?

Also worried about this! Your PC needs a supply of air, IE in and out. Shoving a domestic fan on it is :cuckoo: might cool it down but its not doing the system any good.

I would try and find why its not cooling sufficiently and fix the problem
 
My main system runs half of my house LOL!!!! it is never switched off and has 4 family members using it! and also the housing unit wouldn't be the most pc friendly ......maybe a bigger far over due!!!LOL

i'd disagree, however i like a nice quiet computer
 
Get Scythe Ninja 2 or even Mugen 2 for passive cooling.
Get Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus if you want very good money/perfomance ratio.

If you need just fans, look at NoiseBlocker, Akasa Apacher or Noctua.

Bowlers is shocking, get up to scan or aria, pay the same possibly less and no need to pay to get in.

Cooling I'm no expert anymore, I used to go large copper heatsinks with heatpipes and a nice slow fan on there then moved to water cooling in a later gaming rig I built but moved to consoles for gaming to save money. Now I just stick something in there along the same lines of before huge heatsink with a big slow fan on the front. The problem is that most fans are a little pants so research what you buy most heatsinks do the same job very well the main thing is to make sure the air flow in to the case is good and equally good if not better out of it. I usually go with 1 in and 2 out, make sure cables are tidy and routed out of the way to aid airflow, and most importantly keep it as dust free as you can. I shut my server down over the weekend for a clean out, it uses stock Intel Xeon coolers on both CPU's, they were screaming away, de dust, blown and sucked, fans cleaned, intakes cleaned and its totally spotless again fresh arctic silver 5 paste applied and the result is no longer screaming fans and near silent even at full tilt.

I gotta buy some more paste before I do the desktop.
