Yet another Paypal rant

I had money transferred into my paypal account which I rarely use but owing to the senders circumstances I agreed to accept this, the money was transferred to my paypal account immediately and I requested the funds be transferred to my bank accout at the same time.

It then took a whole 7 days to get there!!.

That is nothing less than scandalous !!.

Rant over!!
 
Don't start me off..
Their website states 2-3 days for money to clear into a bank account - what a joke.
They are withholding money from me until an ebay user leaves me feedback or 21 days have elapsed.
I know he received the item today and he said he will leave me feedback after 6pm.
If there is no feedback by 9pm I will message him every half an hour until he does because I am not waiting 21 days.
I've never sold a faulty item on ebay, been a member since 2002 and their new policy sucks.

Yes I spotted that bit in the confirmation email, then when I logged into my Paypal account it confirmed it "normally" takes 2-3 days but also gave a date that the money "should" be in my account by which added another 2 days to make it a maximum of 5 working days, added to Saturday and Sunday that made it 7 days!!.

This was not through Ebay.
 
Well I asked Paypal to transfer some money from my Paypal account to my bank account on the 19th and it's in there today the 21st. Nothing wrong with that service, maybe it's your bank and not Paypal.

Never had a problem with the Halifax before, maybe you hit lucky, maybe I was unlucky, maybe 2-3 days is the normal time, but after past experiences with them I think this is going to be the very last time for me.

Let's face it, it should be instant anyway, they take it out of your account instantly!.

I do not buy or sell on Ebay any more so they will not be a great miss.
 
Inflicting a Paypal payment on someone is about as anti-social as farting under the duvet covers.
 
I feel your pain! I once had to wait for 200 quid over the Xmas period.

I'm sure you can imagine how frustrating it is to have 200 notes waiting when you are absoloutely skint from new year in Dublin! :razz:

A-flippin'-ha. I was just pondering that I'm pretty sure that my online banking transfers inter-account at the same bank are stated to take up to seven days and you kindly identified my bank.

Kinda depends what service they state in their T&C. If they say within the same day then fine, take them to task. If they don't offer same day transfer you have to accept that they're generating revenue from cash held on account. It sounds like they'll get nowt else from you now.
