Does anyone know how long it takes to be reimursed by PP, the story so far....

I bought some forks for my MTB off another forum member on a MTB site, straight away PP noticed something strange and held the funds untill I contacted them to let them know it was fine, 2 days passed before I noticed PP had frozen the payment during this time the seller had done one"so to say" he wouldnt answer emails or texts, his phone is off permanently and even PP cannot get a reply to their emails to him, I know my money is safe but just how long do they take to pay it back into my account as I have seen some forks I want but dont have enough left available untill PP cough up.
 
It can differ depending on circumstances, but I got mine in 30 days.
 
Just been on the phone to PP and it looks like my noney will be sent back within 10 days as the seller has numerous issues on his account that the rep couldnt go into for obvious reasons, but looks like the chap is a baddun and they are on to his antics
 
It's good to know that your money is protected using paypal.

My wife made a purchase, but then the seller immediately refunded our money as there was an advert error (no stock). Fair enough, no messing around we get our money back, or so we thought, 3 days before we could transfer it back to our account, couldn't even spend it, seems sometimes it can be over-protective of your money lol.
