Paulie-W`s 'You say, I shoot' ... *second shot done* next challenge ... is "Floating"

This seems to have caused a fair bit of "Excitement" on flickr :D

The droplets are a bit soft (no idea why), which does mess with the eyes, but maybe it`s why it`s getting such attention over at flickr :shrug:
 
Nice composition and subject. Clever interpretation of excitement.
 
I can see robots, but not a lot of detail...:thinking: Looks like a right battle, though.

Excitement, tenuous like to Excitement :nono: ;) but as a photograph I like it, a little closer or further away and I don't think it would have worked as well. Nice vibrant reds and nice use of the shadows. Looks a tad soft, especially on the water drops...nice touch.

Well done.

Unless you have a week 3, can I suggest: 'floating'....:thumbs:

Robots is probably best viewed large, and it helps knowing where they`re from. I thought it better than just a portrait type shot (which I did attempt).

:lol: yeah "Excitement" was a bit of a cheat, but I was really excited about all the attention it was getting on flickr (as i`d never had anything like it before :) At the moment it`s my wallpaper on a 22" monitor, and it kinda looks better from a distance regarding the softness of it, so when it goes to canvas it should look ok I reckon :D

"Floating" ..... Yeah, I like the sound of that, so floating it is :thumbs:

Sorry paulie .. But a red rose isn't the excitement I was looking for.... The sulty Spanish lady dancing with its stem clenched between her...AHEM.... Teeth...would be though...

For a next theme..can I suggest a mountain top view of a glacier in mid flow...??? Not specific so you have plenty of flex there...
