Paul Hunter (Snooker) RIP..

Surprised this hasnt been mentioned today.

Paul Hunter lost his fight with Cancer today and died at a young age of 27. He leaves a wife Lindsey, and a daughter Evie Rose who was born on Boxing Day of last year.

Snooker has lost one of its brightest talents and will be sorely missed by his family and snooker fans also.

Saw the report on TV this morning. Knew he was ill but didn't realise it was that far advanced. Shame.

Tragic loss at such a young age. RIP

It is a very tragic loss to the world of snooker. I watched him play while he was undergoing chemo and his comments about loving the game and it not really being worth living if he couldn't play really moved me. Sometimes you think the sports stars are only in it for the money but his true devotion moved me.
