Sad to hear of his passing, loved this guy when i was a kid, R.I.P.

Yes, just seen this...as you say, great to watch years ago

As a kid he seemed to be a permanent fixture on the TV screen, RIP A lot, not a little! Paul Daniels.

Did a walk for awareness a few weeks ago for a charity that supports research for brain tumours in children. We have a 8 year old little girl at the Church I go to that is in the Chemo stages after the surgery to remove her tumour. They seem to be very random in all ages these days. You just dont know whats around the corner.

Can't remember what he was called but Paul used to have a bloke on his show who fired real crossbows at people, loved watching that even though my heart was in my mouth.

Anyone remember what he was called?

Aw! I'm going to miss his magical fun, but then again, God is having a LOL up there, asking Paul "That's a good trick! Please show us some more tricks."

He's a really cool one, I watched his magic shows on television, but what I like the best was that one-off show he had, where he teach us how to use our memories to remember.

RIP Mr Daniels, You'll like this ... not a lot, but you'll like it.

Sad loss, a very outspoken chappie but a classic man and a grafter.
firmly believed in work hard.

A long career, and the staple viewing of many a weekend when I was a kid.

His imminent passing was only discussed on the forums a couple of weeks ago…..Very sad that it came so soon.

As he sadly has performed his last final disappearing act . . .

Indeed quite ironic really :(
He kinda reminded me of an up to date more flamboyant David Nixon, that brought magic to masses.

RIP

Are you ready to meet the grim reaper?
Say 'Yes Paul"

We cant let this thread go without mentioning the classic interview line from Mrs Merton (Caroline Aherne/whatever) to Debbie McGee : "So, what first attracted you to the millionaire Paul Daniels?"

He's from Slaggy Island like me,his dad used to run the local picture house which they turned into a night club where Paul performed as a lad..

Ay, from South Bank where I too was born :D My parents were good friends with his parents.
