Wales Parys Mountain, Anglesey.

There's talk of having a trip to the island and having a looksee at this big hole. Anyone know what access is like? I understand that it's abandoned, but is it all fenced off and barbed wired, or is it relatively easy to walk into?

Anyone been, or any locals know what it's like?

It's got it's own car park and is signposted. It'll be heaving with dog walkers. No barbed wire, some of the most recent mining relics are fenced off with industrial fencing as theoretically at least the site is still a working mine, although nothing's been extracted here for some time. It is a very big hole indeed!
