Yes it is a "Deadcat" I know. This is on a Sennheiser MK400 microphone if interested but more than likely work on a Rhode mike as well. The problem I have had ,and I suspect many others, is to stop the deadcat slipping off. Well I can't claim any rewards as I saw it on youtube and thought it a good idea. I got my wife to sew a small elastic tape "she only had white" to the opening ends of the deadcat and slip it around the mike end as in the photo above. I tried just elastic bands around it no good and the velcros inside didn't reach.

Just as i wanted to try it out properly the wind outside died down, just my luck
