Part time job - BARNSLEY

Right, this is quite a long shot seeing as there are barely any members from in and around Barnsley but I suppose it's worth a try.

I'm currently in full-time education studying A-Levels and would like some extra pocket to cater for this hobby and other interests I have. I was just wondering if anyone from in or around Barnsley knew of any part time jobs available?

I don't expect any replies but never mind

Good idea Josh and good luck but it might help if you give some idea as to what kind of work you are interested in or capable of doing?

If it is of any help I earnt money as a teenager cutting peoples lawns - screwed up weekends a bit but was a good way to earn some money.

yep - i did the same. Got paid £5 a pop by old dears for lawn cutting and hedge trimming whilst listening to Maiden and GnR on my tape playing sony walkman......as a teenager......

Did all sorts of crap as a student as well.....including a summer in a chicken factory.....

Guys and girls there were all nice - salt of the earth people, but it put me off chicken for life.......

I did manage to convince the machine minder "trigger"... whose normal morning salutation would be "Hello Lynton, some f*ing f*ers, f*ing nicked my f*ing spanner, the c*s."

Over 2 months, I convinced him that dogs had regional accents to their barks. Well I was a student and was doing a degree in animal science....:shrug:

At this stage in my life I'm actually just looking for anything. I don't have any specialist qualifications so it would have to be a more 'general' job, if that's how you would put it. However, I do have 10 GCSEs at grade A*-C

It's true, they do.
