Part Ex & grey import

Looking on the webuyanycamera.com web site I noticed the 1st question being - "my equipment is UK stock (required)". So it would appear they don't consider any grey imports.
Are they just being fussy/covering their backs? At the end of the day a D7100 is a D7100.

I believe MBP are the same and don't want to touch grey import bodies. I'm sure they have their reasons.
