Is anyone a member of the parkwood camera club in gillingham?

If so what is it like?

I am wondering if its worth having a thread specifically for listing camera clubs in different areas - I know clubs have been discussed in plenty of threads, both good and bad ones, so maybe its time for a list of them as a reference tool both for existing and new members?

I agree wtih you....obviously shafton camera club is the best.....[which is the one i go to] but i agree that we need a dedicated thread LL.

Hmm, I will pm Marcel - I think a sticky thread somewhere, where you can post club name, district AND county, plus any contact details and links would be very useful.

er ok guys was kinda looking for info cos i was thinking of joining, but yeah its a good idea for ppl to let others know about the clubs they belong to and what there like

Do they not do an evening when you could just go along and see what they are like as individuals and as a group and see their programme for the next few months?

Toothie, I am not a member myself but have heard good reports about the Club, from what I know they meet once a month and are quite reasonable. I think repeat think I found them on the web and downloaded a membership form and it is on my desk somewhere. May just join myself. Regards Jim

i was going to join that club a while ago as its the nearest local one (i live in gillingham), i contacted them and they always looking for new members, but it ended up being further than i realised,lol and theres no way im cycling there and back.. Other people have said its a good one to join, so go for it.

thanks Blinkerz, i contacted them and im going along on the 7th of jan i cant make the meetings before christmas.
