I used this company to send a package, got their details from moneysavigexpert.com. Basically they buy up delivery slots from courier companies and so get business rates and then sell them to us.

At the moment the small (up to 10kg) packs get free next day delivery upgrade for £7.05 inc vat; which I thought good.

May be useful to anyone selling larger items at the moment.

Sounds like it could be handy,
Will add it to the bookmarks, cheers for the link

A word to the wise - they are DREADFUL. I used them over Christmas and out of four pickups the driver "forgot" to come twice and their "next day delivery" service, well that took anywhere from 3 days to a week.

Nearly three weeks on and I'm still waiting for a refund for a missed collection, they have no contact telephone number and don't reply to emails.

They also claim to use DHL and FedEx, but they don't it's City Link, who (in my opinion) are probably one of, if not the, worst courier firm around.

I used them once before Christmas, with no problem, having found them thanks to the label on a parcel from an eBay seller (so that counts as two positive experiences out of two).

Their prices aren't competitive enough for the 15kg packages I usually (but not frequently) send.

Fair enough. I've used them once and the service was fine. Was through Citylink though, which now that you mention it wasn't mentioned on their website.

What do you expect from a company called Parcel Monkey. Pay peanuts get monkeys

I used Parcel Monkey this week to pickup my Canon 5D with grip in Essex on Wednesday and deliver to Edinburgh next day £7 and all went according to plan.

I've used them a couple of times and they've sent Fedex and its been a next day delivery.

I' would have used them, but not now that I know they use
City Link.... too much trouble with them in the past.

Nearly, the same but defo cheaper

Collect +

is one where you can drop off the parcel at a place (local store) and NOT have to wait for a courier all day ...

I used them again and they sent CityLink this time :gag:

Having said that, it was collected fine yesterday, and delivered OK today.... heart was in the mouth when it turned out to be a Sh!ttylink collection though!

Another + vote from me. I think they used DHL with my last delivery...
