Yes
Delivery today via Parcel Force of a 600mm x 1000mm double radiator, clearly stated on the box Very Heavy Item, requires assistance to lift, in other words a 2 man lift.

What do they send ? a skinny little foreign runt on his own wearing a large wrist support on his right arm. He knocks the door and asks me to help him take it from the van to my front door. FFS, if it had just been my wife at home there is no way she could have helped, me with the dodgy ticker shouldn't have lifted it the distance from street to the door either, it damn near knackered me but I couldn't be assed travelling 12 miles to their depot to pick it up.
Well done Parcel Force ...NOT

A lot of Parcel Force delivery drivers are private contractors, for the driver to have had help with him, the driver would likely to have had to pay someone out of his own pocket.

Another problem caused by price matching, people want to pay less despite a cut in service.

If it was a parcelforce liveried vehicle then it was an employed driver, the private contractors are expected to provide their own white vans.

Complain and make sure you mention that you've pulled a muscle in the process.
I'm not condoning false compo, just let them know you knackered yourself in doing their job.

Definitley was a PF van with all the livery on it.

At least two round here appear Parcel Force liveried (red), but with the contracted firms details sign written in addition to the PF logos, etc. Basically a standard PF livery plus the contractors name.

Not around here, the private contractors must have a red van (although unliveried) in keeping with parcel force colours and if memory serves me correctly, no older than 3yrs old.
