Paperback Book production

We are in the process of planning a photographic guide book from a trip around the UK and need to find a company that can produce quality books but as cheap as possible.

Any suggestions?

Google "print on demand". But obviously there is a trade off between cost and quality. I would recommend you use a professional proofreader before you go to print.

Thanks, been going through google slowly and getting samples sent through. Its a pretty huge project we are doing so will get it all proofed before sending to print later this year.

there are also Createspace (which is Amazon owned) and BLURB

Not used them yet, and don't know anyone who has, but I've bookmarked this lot for future reference. Prices seem competitive compared to print on demand, but obviously you need to buy in volume and market and ship them yourself.
