I have a Canon Pixma Pro 9000 and am trying to find some panoramic paper for it. Not necessarily Canon paper, but decent quality.

If I google for it, the only resuklts that come up are either HP A2 panoramic paper... but it's now discontinued, or just small 10 x 30cm stuff.

Any ideas please.

I have the Canon Pixma Pro 9500 and looked into printing panoramas on it last year.

I found that the printer driver limits the size of the paper to width 420mm by height 594mm (roughly 16.5" x 23.5") under the custom paper size option. As the aspect ratio for a true panorama is 3:1 then the largest you can print is 7.5" x 22.5".

Permajet do good quality photographic inkjet paper on the roll in gloss, semi gloss and matt finish. A roll 13" wide by 10m is around £35 or a 17" wide 30m roll for around £70 - depends on how many pano's you are going to print.

Again I was looking at this for the 9500 but I wouldn't expect the 9000 to be that much different.

I never did print any pano's but I have used the Permajet paper in A3 and A4 sizes with good results.

I'd be interested in your findings if you do go ahead and try it.

cheers for that Scarey, i'll keep you posted.
