Panning Advice

welcome aboard :) not much help needed to be honest, good background blur and sharp subject, just what you're looking for :)

Good shot that, found out myself how hard panning is yesterday in a quick attempt at it.

Got muchos respect for those who are **** hot at it.

Advice? Nah

Just keep taking stuff like that

Very Hard indeed, fired almost 200 shots and changed different settings before i started to get some decent one.

the best thing i found was keeping the shutter speed lowish, i used between 160 and 250 for the ones i took at knockhill (there in the motorsport section)

rosario144, good work - great shot. And it's my all-time fave car :)

Found exactly the same thing today when shooting windsurfers at my local reservoir. Thought I'd be able to turn up, get the shot and that would be it... how wrong i was. Sports photographers have my utmost respect for working under such pressure.
