Panasonic LX100 Focus and zoom problems.

My LX100 has never missed a beat - until now.
For no apparent reason and without warning the lens will not zoom using the zoom lever, and the lens will not autofocus.
The camera has not been misused or dropped, and I have tried 2 batteries.
Total shutter activations will be less than 1000, but the camera is out of warranty.
Has anyone had similar problems?
