Panasonic GX7

Between the two I'd go for the Panny simply because my CS5 wont process X-E1 files without putting a grid of dods over the image :gag: which would mean I'd have to use the Fuji software, buy something else or shoot JPEG

I am leaning towards the GX7 but I do like all those dials on the X-E1 plus the way it handles high ISO's.
Any software updates for CS5?

No, they've stopped updating it and it wont take the latest version of their RAW processor. The Swines!

People say that you don't need RAW as the Fuji JPEG's are so good but I've just got into the habit of shooting RAW and I don't think I'm willing to go back to shooting JPEG's.

Another issue for me (and I seem to be the only one who cares about this) is the high base ISO. I couldn't and wouldn't live with a base of 200 and a max shutter speed of 1/4000 sec so it's a deal killer on that one point. The camera would be thrown over a hedge in less than 5 minutes.

Think they're trying to force people to their creative cloud setup!
I'm the same - prefer to shoot RAW, maybe the updated X-E1 will address the base ISO and shutter speed.
Still waiting a decent review of the GX-7, seen one on TechRadar but it's not comprehensive

Loads of reviews get liked on this site...

I'm thinking of getting a new small camera and luckily I don't have too much tied up in MFT as I mostly use old Rokkor lenses. I do have a Voigtlander 25mm that's specific to MFT though, so quite a bit tied up in that.

I would prefer not to have to stump up for new software though. CS5 cost in the region of £600 and I'm not happy that they wont update it after such a short time.

Thanks, I'll take a look...
Whatever I decide on I'll need to ditch my dSLR stuff, could be painful!
