I previously had an FZ200 and was very happy with it in terms of low ISO and amazing lens range but couldn't be sold on it as my main camera due to the limitations of the small sensor. I have been thinking over the FZ1000 and the Sony RX10 as I am very impressed by the sensor on my RX100.

I prefer the feel, handling of the Sony together with the constant 2.8 aperture but think the extra range on the Panasonic lens would be very useful.

I would ideally like to run some RAW images from the cameras through my software to see how good they can be but am struggling to find anything online other than JPEGS. Does anyone have any RAW files they could 'lend' to me?

Also any feedback on using either cameras as a main camera would be greatly appreciated.

I've just bought an FZ1000... Maybe 2 years too late but will put some pictures up later!

I can send you Raws from the FZ1000 and the RX10 III if that is any good. They are, of course, huge files.

I bought the original RX10 when it was released almost three years ago and a year later I sold all my Nikon gear as I just wasn't using it. Okay, I'm not the most prolific of photographers these days but the 24-200mm range matched nearly everything I did with Clear Image Zoom giving very usable results up to 400mm when required. I've now moved up to a Mk III but I think the Mk1 & MkII are more pleasant to use because of the lighter weight which was one of the initial attractions.

If you do decide to go for an RX10, I have a lovely example with extras I can put in the Sales section.
