Panasonic 100-400mm lens serial number

Anyone know if they have a serial number and where it is on the lens?

Can't find it..........

Should be able to find it in the extended exif ... otherwise is it on the lens mount end near the rear element?

Yes I have found it in the EXIF. Yep got it on the lens as well now thanks. It is on the plastic mount bit alongside the contacts........

Ye But..........

The serial number of the actual lens is different from the EXIF of the processed Jpeg viewing on Flickr!

So not sure what the EXIF Flickr is getting. How do I read the EXIF in Lightroom 6? Tried using HELP but it makes no sense to me

The properties of the photo using Windows skip the lens and camera as well. Not much use there...

Sorry not too familiar with LR but I would guess the printed number is the correct one

Just checked mine and flickr is also showing a different number to the one on the lens
