How are recent experiences ordering through Panamoz, anyone??

Without wishing to sound negative, if you simply put "Panamoz" into the search box you will find an abundance of views. :)

Sure, not sounding negative. You may be right... I'm kind of new here as an active user and I think I'm not as familiar as I thought I would be with it all :) It still takes me a bit to find how to start a thread, for instance... these kind of things... :) Thanks though...
 
Order a camera recently and no complaints.
 
Ordered a Canon R6ii in February. Was expecting within 14 days and I think it came in 4. It came whilst I was on holiday so was worried I would miss the 14 day return period. I mentioned this to them and they extended it to 30 days. Communication was quick and efficient. Absolutely no complaints from my experience. I ended up with a new camera for the same price as 2nd hand.

Obviously I can't comment on any problems with faults as I ain't had any yet.

Good luck with your purchase, whatever you do.

Have bought a Canon R5 body and an RF100-500 lens from them over the last few months.

Impecable service on both orders.

Just ordered from them. I think they are the best grey market service. It was sent with FedEx and tracked all the way through.
And another plus that they allow transferring the warranty of a used product. Not even well established shops do that.
 
Just purchased the Nikon 400mm f/4.5, saved a lot ££, arrived within 5 days.
Not my first purchase and all have been excellent even when I had a mishap with a camera they refunded me the repair cost under the 3 year warranty.

I always look at HDEW, but for the (Canon) kit that I buy, they are always significantly more expensive than Panamoz.

I buy OM Systems stuff so they work well for me.

I also like the fact they have an office in the UK & I can talk to someone if needed.

Panamoz are listing the lens I just bought at £1100 (OM Systems 100-400 mk2)

I bought it from HDEW for £999 2 weeks ago during a sale.

A quick search on here will find you many positive comments about them. Their prices are good and their service is second-to-none.

You'll also get a three year warranty that they'll pay out on in just a few days. I've only recently had to use this service - as always. Excellent.

Thanks for your reply!! Can I ask you, out of curiosity... did the R5 include a user manual?? a printed one, like in the old days? Last camera I got was a R6 and only a thin manual with basic instructions was included.

So much so, I am currently looking for a second one!

I considered the mk. ii, but for what I do, the improvements don't justify the cost.

Camera arrived days before this trip, not even set-up before gettimg on the 'plane, so these were some of the first photos I took with the camera:

WOW!!! amazing photos!!! Congrats!! Those birds, OMG!! Photos look amazing!! I can imagine how much fun you had with your brand new (and non set up at the time :)) R5. I agree with you re the mark ii, by the way
 
Recently ought a new body from them, Arrived in 4 days. I have had to use their warranty for a lens bought from them and the service was impeccable..
 
Never heard anything negative about Panamoz, always glowing reports.
 
Does anyone ever get lumped with import charges from them?

I've never heard of it from Panamoz but when I've spoken to them they've always said they'd reimburse it if it ever happened.

Ah that's superb to hear as I'm looking at a present for my wife and Panamoz are the same price new as some of the used kit I'm looking at.
 
bought my sony camera off them no issues turned up super quick for where it came from :)
